The Lone Star Preserve is a privately owned property and is NOT open to the public EXCEPT during Speleofest. We welcome everyone to join us for Speleofest and provide these directions for this event.
We will report trespassers to law enforcement if necessary.

I-65 North or South take EXIT 76
GO WEST on SR 224 to US 31 W (coming from Louisville that would be a right).
Take a left (heading south) on 31W.
Go 2.5 miles to SR 1656 Walnut Grove School Rd.
Walnut Grove School Rd is the 2nd blacktop road on the right past the Hart County line.
Turn Right onto Walnut Grove School Rd.
Go over railroad tracks, and then go right onto Falling Springs Church Rd.
Go 2.5 miles to Lone Star Preserve on the left
Note: The original railroad track crossing at Falling Springs Church Rd was closed in the summer of 2015, the Walnut Grove School Rd crossing is less than half a mile further from the old crossing.
